At a\u00a0major rally in New York<\/a> City on September 23, 2025, Gen. Tod Wolters, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, praised the determination of the Iranian Resistance and said the movement is prepared to lead the country toward freedom. Speaking before thousands gathered at the United Nations headquarters in New York, he said the rally was proof of the Iranian people\u2019s \u201cindomitable spirit\u201d and their readiness to achieve change.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor far, far too long, the good citizens of Iran have endured without freedom,\u201d Wolters said. He described the regime as one that \u201cexports terrorism and crushes civil life,\u201d insisting it does not represent the aspirations of the Iranian people. Pointing to the NCRI as the organized alternative, he said the movement \u201ccan and will deliver on this mandate and has prepared, researched, educated, and practiced for decades and decades.\u201d<\/p>\n

He highlighted key parts of Maryam Rajavi\u2019s Ten-Point Plan<\/a> as \u201csimple, yet strategic,\u201d including an independent judiciary, a non-nuclear Iran, and equal participation of women in political leadership. Addressing Iranians directly, the U.S. general declared, \u201cTo the 90-plus million citizens of Iran: you deserve this change, and you deserve it soonest.\u201d<\/p>\n
