On September 21, the Women\u2019s Committee of the National Council of <a href=\"https:\/\/wncri.org\/2025\/09\/19\/somayeh-rashidi-nears-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resistance of Iran had warned<\/a> that the life of political prisoner Somayeh Rashidi was in danger.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following repeated seizures and collapsing several times in the ward, she was finally, with great delay, transferred to Mofatteh Hospital in Varamin on September 16. From the outset, doctors described her condition as \u201ccritical.\u201d In recent weeks, a regime operative named Mirza Baqi, who plays the role of a doctor in prison, claimed that Somayeh Rashidi was feigning illness and did not need to be transferred to a hospital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The denial of access to medical facilities for political prisoners by Khamenei\u2019s henchmen is a long-standing and well-documented crime used to break and torture prisoners to death.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Iranian Resistance calls on the United Nations Special Rapporteur to investigate the circumstances of Somayeh Rashidi\u2019s death and the crime of the vile clerical regime.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Iranian Resistance also urges the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Human Rights Council, the Special Rapporteur on Iran, and the Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women to take urgent action to save the lives of sick prisoners, especially women, in the Qarchak torture center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Secretariat of the<a
