In Zahedan, PMOI Resistance Units Champion a Democratic Future, Rejecting All Dictatorships<\/h3>\n

On October 3, 2025, PMOI Resistance Units in the southeastern city of Zahedan resumed their weekly activities with a powerful and defiant message for Iran and the world. Amidst the regime\u2019s ongoing repression, these activists took to the streets to reaffirm their unwavering commitment to the struggle against the ruling mullahs and their vision for a democratic republic that categorically rejects all forms of tyranny, past and present. Their placards and slogans sent a clear signal: the Iranian people\u2019s quest for freedom will not be satisfied by replacing one dictator with another.<\/p>\n

A central theme of the Resistance Units\u2019 demonstration was the emphatic rejection of both the current theocracy and the former monarchical dictatorship. In a direct rebuke to those who suggest the Iranian people desire a return to the shah\u2019s rule, their placards carried slogans such as, \u201cDeath to the oppressor, be it the shah or the supreme leader,\u201d and \u201cA dictator is a dictator, whether with a turban or a crown.\u201d This message underscores a core principle of the Iranian resistance: true freedom cannot be achieved by turning back the clock.<\/p>\n

Shahrbanoo Asadi, Highschool Teacher, Dismissed from Education Ministry<\/h3>\n

In a controversial ruling, the Administrative Court of Justice upheld the dismissal of Shahrbanoo Asadi, a Persian language and literature teacher in high schools of District 2 of the Department of Education in Rasht. Shahrbanoo Asadi, a well-known teachers\u2019 union activist, has been formally barred from continuing her service in the Department of Education following the court\u2019s approval of the Education Ministry\u2019s Selection Board decision in Branch 28 of the appeals court. The ruling comes despite a previous decision by the same court in favor of Asadi, when it had overturned the Selection Board\u2019s initial rejection of her employment due to \u201clack of legal justification and insufficient evidence.\u201d Nevertheless, the Selection Board once again disqualified her on professional grounds and insisted on enforcing her expulsion.<\/p>\n
