Announcing the news, Ehsan Faridi&#8217;s lawyer told the state-run Ensaf News outlet, &#8220;It seems the request for a retrial was not even read and was rejected in less than an hour.&#8221; He emphasized that &#8220;the case has serious procedural flaws,&#8221; and according to the regime&#8217;s own laws, &#8220;the maximum sentence for my client could have been five years in prison.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Ehsan Faridi was arrested on June 18, 2024, and sentenced to death in May 2025 on the clerical-fabricated charge of &#8220;Corruption on Earth&#8221; for supporting the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Additionally, on Thursday, October 23, the lawyer for Manouchehr Fallah, a political prisoner and PMOI supporter held in Lakan Prison in Rasht, announced that the regime&#8217;s Supreme Court had upheld his death sentence. <a href=\"https:\/\/iran-hrm.com\/2025\/02\/12\/a-letter-from-prison-manouchehr-fallah-to-his-daughter-on-her-16th-birthday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manouchehr Fallah<\/a>, 35, has been detained since June 2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The Iranian Resistance calls for urgent action by the United Nations and its relevant bodies, the European Union and its member states, to prevent the executions of Ehsan Faridi, Manouchehr Fallah, and other political prisoners sentenced to death. The regime of execution and terror must be shunned by the international community, and its bloodthirsty leaders must be brought to justice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align:
