During the court session Ziaii condemned the proceedings as unlawful, stating: \u201cThis is not a court; it is an act of revenge.\u201d Fatemeh Ziaii, who has been imprisoned in Evin Prison, faced charges of \u201cpropaganda against the state,\u201d \u201cassembly and collusion against national security,\u201d and \u201cmembership in opposition groups.\u201d Despite suffering from severe multiple sclerosis (MS), she has been denied access to specialized medical care and adequate treatment inside Evin Prison.<\/p>\n
