As a result, they are at imminent risk of execution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These three prisoners were sentenced to two death sentences and one year in prison on July 11, 2025, after two years of torture and interrogation, by Branch One of the Ahvaz \u00a0so-called revolutionary court, presided over by the henchman Adibimehr. The charges included &#8216;moharebeh&#8217; (waging war against God), &#8216;assembly and collusion against national security,&#8217; &#8216;membership in the PMOI,&#8217; and &#8216;propaganda against the state.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Farshad Etemadifar, 30, from Basht in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, was arrested on June 16, 2023, in the city of Basht and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence detention center in Yasuj. He had previously been arrested in Gachsaran in 2018 and served 20 months in prison.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Masoud Jamei, 48, an employee of the oil company, was arrested in August 2023, and Alireza Mardasi, 52, a teacher residing in the Kouy-e Abuzar district of Ahvaz, was arrested in July 2023 in Ahvaz. Both Masoud and Alireza are from the Arab compatriots.
