He noted that Iran now ranks 117th in the world in GDP per capita, a \u201cshameful position\u201d for a resource-rich country. Food inflation near 60 percent, medicine costs up \u201c700 to 800 times,\u201d and the fact that \u201c80% of Iranians live below the poverty line\u201d were, he said, unmistakable signs of collapse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2758\" data-end=\"3128\">He described extreme inequality in housing\u2014\u201c1% of the country owns more than 30% of the wealth\u201d\u2014and a labor market where nearly 80% lack stable jobs. He credited the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iranwatch.org\/library\/ncri-info-2-top-secret-nuclear-sites-12-02\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NCRI with the 2002 exposure<\/a> of the Natanz nuclear site, calling it \u201ca courageous act of patriotic intelligence\u201d that triggered sanctions and diplomatic isolation. \u201cThe world owes a big thank you to the NCRI-US,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1786\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Dr. Saiedian then detailed what he described as the collapse of Iran\u2019s regional strategy and the regime\u2019s intensifying reliance on executions and arrests, noting that \u201cexecutions have tripled\u201d in three years. He highlighted extreme repression of MEK supporters, widespread censorship, persecution of minorities, and environmental breakdown.
