Amir, a member of a resistance unit in the city of Shiraz, told how Iranians feel they have \u201cnothing left to lose\u201d.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old said: \u201cThe young generation of Iran joins protests despite the risk of arrest, imprisonment, or even death, because for them, the cost of silence has exceeded the cost of protest.<\/p>\n
