The gathering, held in the German capital, coincided with the anniversary of the anti-monarchical revolution against the Shah\u2019s dictatorship and was framed as a rejection of dictatorship in all forms and a demand for a democratic future determined by the Iranian people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Protesters carried banners calling for freedom, justice for victims of repression, and accountability for those responsible for human rights abuses. In her words, the uprising \u201cturned crimson,\u201d yet it did so \u201cwith the blood of a galaxy of martyrs and thousands of devoted souls and with the fury of a heroic nation,\u201d before adding that the gathering in Berlin honours \u201cthe brave martyrs of the uprising.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Rajavi argued that the political direction is now unmistakable. She said, \u201cToday, no one in the world doubts the certainty of the clerical regime\u2019s overthrow,\u201d recalling years of insisting on the inevitability of change: \u201cFor years and years, we said: overthrow, overthrow. And now, everyone sees it is approaching with their own eyes and hears its footsteps.\u201d She also pointed to what she described as a shift in Europe\u2019s posture, saying that \u201cthe courage of Iran\u2019s rebels shone and became global,\u201d and asserting that \u201cthe spell of appeasement toward the IRGC in Europe has been shattered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-342362\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-rally-Iran.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"415\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-rally-Iran.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-rally-Iran-300x125.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-rally-Iran-768x319.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-rally-Iran-150x62.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-rally-Iran-696x289.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In her address, Mrs. Rajavi called for recognition of decades of organized resistance, saying it is time to acknowledge \u201cthe 44-year resistance of the Iranian people to overthrow the regime,\u201d and to recognize the struggle of <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/pmoi-resistance-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Resistance Units<\/a> and the National Liberation Army of Iran. She praised families of those killed, especially bereaved parents who, she said, transform grief into determination. Referring to a mother whose children were executed under both the Shah and Khomeini, she highlighted the enduring refrain: \u201cThe struggle continues.\u201d Mrs. Rajavi echoed it emphatically\u2014\u201cYes, yes, the struggle continues\u201d\u2014and insisted that the nation, with \u201cits pioneering rebels,\u201d will return \u201cmore numerous and more organized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Rajavi also invoked the legacy of resistance figures and martyrs, including Ashraf Rajavi and <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ctYTCZUzsnM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moussa Khiabani<\/a>, using their words to reinforce that a decisive phase has begun. She quoted Khiabani\u2019s call for hope and resolve: \u201cWe have the right to be hopeful, and we will not be afraid of dangers and hardships. So be certain: the future belongs to you. The decaying forces will be swept from the stage of history.\u201d Building on that theme, she declared that \u201cafter the January uprising, the countdown to downfall has begun,\u201d adding: \u201cYes! Yes, this is the countdown to the overthrow of the clerical regime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Rajavi said the January uprising had \u201cthree sides\u201d: on one side stood the protesters and \u201crebels\u201d who \u201csacrificed their lives for freedom,\u201d on the opposing side stood the ruling clerics who \u201cspilled blood without restraint,\u201d and on the third side stood the remnants of the Shah and his son, who, sought to \u201chijack the fruits of this sacrifice\u201d with the ultra-reactionary slogan \u201cLong Live the Shah,\u201d which \u201conly gave the clerical regime freer hand to massacre the protesters.\u201d She said the slogan became \u201ca symbol of division,\u201d serving Khamenei, empowering the suppressive forces, and obstructing the path of uprising.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-342363\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2-747x420.jpg 747w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Berlin-IRAN-Rally-2-696x391.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Rajavi reinforced the point by citing Massoud Rajavi\u2019s warning that \u201canyone who imagines they can hijack Iran\u2019s new democratic revolution\u2026 they are gravely mistaken,\u201d framing the uprising as part of a long struggle against \u201ctwo dictatorships, the Shah and the mullahs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Looking beyond the immediate confrontation, Mrs. Rajavi outlined a vision for Iran after the regime\u2019s fall, arguing that the January uprising answered the question of whether overthrow is possible: \u201cYes,\u201d she said, describing the uprising\u2019s \u201clightning assault\u201d as showing the way forward. She also addressed fears of instability, insisting that the current regime is \u201cthe source of insecurity and chaos,\u201d and arguing that a people who overthrow it\u2014relying on a democratic alternative and unity among forces in the \u201cpeople\u2019s front\u201d\u2014can prevent disorder. She described the future Iran as \u201ca democratic republic,\u201d aligned with the path of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/iran-resistance\/revisiting-the-legacy-of-mohammad-mossadegh-a-blueprint-for-democratic-governance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mohammad Mossadegh<\/a>, with \u201cthe separation of religion and state,\u201d \u201cthe autonomy of nationalities,\u201d and \u201ca non-nuclear Iran at peace with the entire world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mrs. Rajavi further insisted that an alternative exists and described it as guided by the principle \u201cNo to the Shah, no to the mullahs,\u201d which she defined as rejecting dictatorship and dependency while affirming freedom and independence. She referenced a transition framework in which a future constitution would be drafted by a Constituent Assembly elected within six months of the regime\u2019s overthrow. She emphasized that the demand repeated by the people is \u201cfreedom, freedom, and freedom,\u201d and stressed equal participation\u2014especially women\u2019s leadership and the equal rights of Iran\u2019s diverse ethnic nationalities, including Kurds, Baluchi, Turkmens, and Arabs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, Mrs. Rajavi issued a direct call to world leaders to take practical measures aligned with the demands raised by protesters and their supporters. Among her stated priorities were recognition of the Iranian people\u2019s struggle to overthrow the regime, immediate steps to stop executions of uprising detainees and political prisoners, support for access to free and open internet, legal accountability for regime leaders for crimes against humanity, the closure of regime embassies and expulsion of agents linked to the IRGC and intelligence
