On the fortieth day commemorating the victims of Iran\u2019s January uprising, the No to Execution Tuesdays Campaign<\/a> issued its 108th weekly statement, declaring solidarity with the families of those killed and reaffirming support for the nationwide protests against the ruling regime.<\/p>\n

The campaign honored what it described as the \u201cbrave families\u201d who, during memorial ceremonies, chose not mourning but determination. In its statement, the group expressed its \u201cmost sincere condolences to the families and the courageous people who, with strong resolve, honor the memory of their martyrs and, instead of grief, have strengthened their determination to continue the path until victory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exposure of Crimes and Echoes of the 1980s Massacres<\/h2>\n

Referring to newly released documents, videos, and photographs from the January crackdown, the campaign stated that these materials reveal \u201ccorners of the great crime of January carried out by the oppressive regime.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement directly cited a remark by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, asserting that the evidence \u201cconfirms Khamenei\u2019s ominous statement that \u2018the God of today is the same God of the 1980s.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the campaign, the scale of violence serves as a reminder of \u201cthe dimensions of crimes against humanity and the secret massacres<\/a> of the 1980s and 1988 in prisons, which were hidden from cameras and whose full extent has still not been revealed.\u201d<\/p>\n
