<\/h3>\nMrs. Maryam Rajavi: The criminal execution of the 18-year-old Amirhossein Hatami, a courageous rebellious youth, is yet another sign of the ruling religious fascism\u2019s desperation in the face of public anger, and the regime\u2019s fear of a growing uprising aimed at its overthrow.\u00a0 These consecutive executions must be condemned by the international community and addressed by the UN Security Council.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n On Thursday morning, April 2, Amirhossein Hatami, an 18-year-old rebellious youth of the January 2026 uprising, was executed in Tehran in a criminal act by the executioners of the ruling religious fascism on charges of ‘Moharebeh’ (waging war against God) and ‘corruption on earth’.<\/p>\n This morning, the regime’s judiciary announced that Amirhossein, who had been arrested by the IRGC Intelligence Organization, had during the January uprising “attacked one of the classified military locations in Tehran along with a number of other rioters, and after vandalizing it, proceeded to set it on fire… The terrorist rioters, despite seeing the written and warning signs, started throwing stones and entering its premises. Seizing the opportunity by blocking the street and setting scattered fires, they closed the aid route and surrounded the building. The thugs entered the courtyard of the building by climbing the wall and the destroyed fence” (Mizan, April 2). The regime’s judiciary added: “During the interrogation, Hatami explicitly confessed: ‘My goal in participating in the riots was to overthrow the regime, and I attacked and entered this location with the intention of finding firearms and ammunition.'”<\/p>\n On Tuesday, March 31, Amirhossein and four other prisoners of the uprising, Mohammad Biglari, Ali Fahim, Abolfazl Salehi, and Shahin Vahed-Parast, were transferred from Ghezel Hesar Prison to solitary confinement. They were sentenced to death in Branch 15 of the sham Revolutionary Court in Tehran, presided over by the executioner Abolghasem Salavati.<\/p>\n Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), described the criminal execution of the brave rebel Amirhossein Hatami as another sign of the ruling religious fascism’s desperation in the face of public anger and the regime’s fear of an escalating uprising for its overthrow.
