The protests have spread across dozens of cities, from Tehran, the capital, to Mashhad, Ahvaz, Tabriz, and Isfahan. This movement, which reached its peak on June 6, 2026, is a real test of the cohesion of the educational system and the effectiveness of policies adopted by the body known as the “Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution,” an institution responsible for setting cultural and educational policies in Iran.
