Prior to that, Ahmad Bakhshayesh, a member of the regime\u2019s parliament, had said, &#8216;In terms of livelihood, we have driven society to a point where the people&#8217;s motivation to protest has increased.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Under such circumstances, criminal judge Morteza Barati and prosecutor Mohammad-Reza Tavakoli, in a criminal ruling at the Revolutionary Court in Isfahan, sentenced 10 uprising prisoners in the case known as &#8216;Isfahan&#8217;s Shohada Square&#8217; to death. These prisoners are: Taraneh Rahimi, Navid Elyasi, Abolfazl Dadgostar, Mehdi Mansouri, Ahmad-Reza Saeedi, Mehrdad Boeiri, Mohammad-Mehdi Asadi, Armin Gholami, Parsa Jafari, and Mehdi Jafari. Six other co-defendants in this case have been sentenced to heavy prison terms: Romina Rahimi (sister of Taraneh Rahimi) and Milad Boeiri to 25 years each, Hamed Mehr-elian to 15 years, and Setayesh Saedi, Sajjad Abedi, and Ali Boeiri to 5 years each.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">In another criminal ruling, Branch 5 of the Isfahan Revolutionary Court sentenced Leila Abolhasani, a mother of two teenage girls who was arrested during the protests in Shahin Shahr, Isfahan, to death.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, the lawyer of Ali-Asghar Peighambari, who was arrested during the January uprising, reported that his client&#8217;s death sentence has been upheld by the regime&#8217;s Supreme Court. This prisoner was recently transferred from Fashafouyeh Prison (Greater Tehran Central Penitentiary) to Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Coinciding with these criminal sentences, a meningitis outbreak that began in July in Isfahan&#8217;s Dastgerd Prison has spread disastrously to most of the prison&#8217;s wards due to a lack of medical care. The regime&#8217;s henchmen are trying to keep the number of infections and deaths secret. Ali Hashemi, an 18-year-old prisoner in this facility, suffered cardiac arrest and died on August 20, 2026, after receiving an injection at the prison clinic. Prison authorities have not provided any explanation so far.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The Iranian Resistance once again calls on the United Nations, its relevant bodies, and all human rights organizations to take urgent action to save the lives of political prisoners facing execution in Iran. It stresses the need for an international fact-finding mission to visit Iranian prisons and meet with political prisoners and detained protesters, particularly in Isfahan\u2019s Dastgerd Prison.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Secretariat of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/our-structure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National
