Oct 10, 2026: On World Day Against the Death Penalty, NCRI supporters in the Netherlands held marathon in Amsterdam to condemn executions in Iran and launch a global call to abolish all death sentences in Iran<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In the week of October 4-11, 2026, supporters of the People\u2019s<\/a> Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) conducted coordinated protests, continuous sit-ins, photo exhibitions, and public outreach events across multiple European cities the United States.<\/p>\n

The sustained Berlin sit-in, now exceeding 220 days, and parallel activities in Switzerland, France, Sweden, Germany, and North America highlighted the regime\u2019s reliance on executions as a tool of political control while underscoring organized diaspora and internal resistance efforts.<\/p>\n

Timed to the World Day Against the Death Penalty, rallies and marathons were organized in 11 different cities where participants condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s accelerating use of capital punishment against political prisoners and participants in recent nationwide uprisings. They reiterated demands for a democratic republic based on Maryam Rajavi\u2019s Ten-Point Plan<\/a>, recognition of the NCRI\u2019s proposed provisional government, and an end to both theocratic and monarchical forms of dictatorship.<\/p>\n
