Annual inflation has reached 76.8%, while year-on-year inflation stands at 88.7%. Monthly inflation has also risen to 4.4%, up from September. These figures show that Iran\u2019s economy remains on a trajectory of sharply rising living costs.<\/p>\n

The main crisis is that a large part of society cannot keep pace with these increases. Wages have fallen behind prices. Household savings lose value by the day, while the cost of meeting basic needs consumes an ever-larger share of people\u2019s incomes.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Eghtesaad24, Ahmadi said: \u201cA medicine may be available at the distribution company, but the pharmacy may be unable to buy it because it lacks liquidity.\u201d He said some of the outstanding claims were owed by the Social Security Organization, the Iran Health Insurance Organization and the Targeted Subsidies Organization.<\/p>\n

Paris, October 30, 2026 \u2014 On the International Day of Political Prisoners, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) held a photo exhibition at Place de la Bastille in Paris, calling for an end to executions and the immediate release of all political prisoners in Iran.<\/p>\n

Photographs of the victims were displayed for passersby in the heart of Paris. Their silent but striking faces recalled the lives of men and women who sacrificed their lives for freedom and democracy in Iran.<\/p>\n
