Maryam Rajavi becoming more brilliant by the day<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Last Saturday, nearly 50,000 Iranians gathered at the exhibition center of Villepinte, in the North of Paris<\/strong><\/p>\n

A mobilization to call for change in Iran and support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They came from all across Europe and America to support their president, Maryam Rajavi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last Saturday, sympathizers of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the main Iranian opposition group, which is based in Auvers-sur-Oise gathered at the exhibition center of Villepinte, in North of Paris. <\/p>\n

The organizers spoke about 50,000 men and women who came to call for regime change in Iran and asked for international support for the People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) that resists against the regime of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Participants called for the solidarity of the international community so that a decisive policy with regard to Iran is adopted. The participants that were routing for their President-elect, Maryam Rajavi, shouted for freedom.<\/p>\n

She told to thousands of her supporters: “The nationwide June 25th and 26th uprising, which was ignited after the fuel crisis, represents the true picture of a discontented society on the verge of exploding. This uprising was a vivid testimony of the burning desire of the Iranian people; the desire to topple the clerical regime.”
 
Terrorist? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Last December, The Iranian Resistance celebrated its first victory in their office in Gords street in Auvers-sur-Oise . A large gathering was organized to celebrate the decision of the EU Court of Justice.<\/p>\n

On December 12, the Court practically cancelled the 2002 decision, which placed the People’s Mojahedin of Iran on the list of terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n

The Court in its ruling stated that the decision taken by the European Union with respect to Mojahedin of Iran “infringes the right to a fair hearing, the obligation to state reasons and the right to effective judicial protection”. The court decision also annulled the Council’s Decision ordering the freezing of the funds of the Iranian resistance organization. But the enthusiasm died down quickly.<\/p>\n

Maryam Rajavi added “On January 30th, the Council proclaimed its intention to maintain the PMOI on the list. At the same time, it gave the PMOI a one-month deadline to provide its reasons against the label. The decision to maintain the PMOI on the list was a violation of the law, and the request for counter-arguments was a blatant act of deception.<\/p>\n

Where is the dossier of June 17, 2003?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iranian Resistance in Auvers-sur-Oise are extremely determined.  These days they call on the French judiciary to close the June 17, 2003 dossier.
 
Four years ago, Dozens of resistance activists including Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect, were arrested subsequent to a police raid to the office of the Iranian Resistance.<\/p>\n

Maryam Rajavi said: “The June 17th dossier is the most disgraceful legacy of the previous government. It began and has continued to exist simply to enchain the Iranian Resistance movement for the benefit of the ruling mullahs.<\/p>\n

Legally speaking, this dossier is without basis. Politically speaking, it is a conspiracy. And historically speaking, it is unprecedented in France’s judicial history since the Second World War. It is indeed so empty and hollow that those in charge resorted to employing the services of the mullahs’ intelligence service agents as witnesses.”<\/p>\n

Last Saturday, several French local representatives and personalities from various countries were present at the exhibition site to support this movement. Among them were Jean-Pierre B\u00c3\u0083\u00c2\u00a9quet, the mayor of Auvers-sur-Oise, Gilles Paruelle, the former President of the Bar Association in Val d’Oise.
