The state-run news agency Fars reported that a man identified as Mohammad Hosseinzadeh was hanged in public in the holly city of Qom, central Iran. <\/p>\n<p>The second man who was identified as Javad Z. was hanged in Mashhad Prison in the provincial capital of Khorassan, northeastern Iran. He was hanged in front of other prisoners. <\/p>\n<p>The recent surge of public and secret executions in Iran follows widespread protests and uprisings across the country.
