Gen. Ahmad Vahidi, with a long record in terrorism, as Deputy Defense Minister yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Before his appointment, Vahidi headed the Ministry&#8217;s Planning Directorate. Until 1998, he was the commander in chief of the Qods (Jerusalem) Force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards&#8217; (IRGC) primary organ for extraterritorial terrorist operations.
