For them, execution is not a punishment, but a fulcrum for their own survival.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Rajavi called upon all human rights activists to stand by the Iranians&#8217; demand for democratic change in Iran.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the Paris conference condemned the gross violations of human rights in Iran, particularly the escalation of public executions since the appointment of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the mullahs&rsquo; new president.
