“As part of a project to improve control of nuclear materials, the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy set up a detailed simulation of the centrifuges currently used by Iran in the Natanz nuclear facility to enrich uranium. The results look nothing like those reached by the US intelligence community.<\/p>\n
“For one scenario, the JRC scientists assumed the centrifuges in Natanz were operating at 100 percent efficiency. Were that the case, Iran could already have the 25 kilograms of highly enriched uranium necessary for an atomic device by the end of this year. Another scenario assumed a much lower efficiency — just 25 percent. But even then, Iran would have produced enough uranium by the end of 2010.”<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in a press conference in Brussels disclosed that the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapon program has entered from "Readiness" to "Deployment" phase by establishing a center for command and control to obtain nuclear bomb.<\/p>\n
Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NCRI revealed that a new center known as "Field for Expansion and Deployment of Advanced Technologies" has been setup since April 2007 in Lavizan-2 site to replace the old center which was established in 2004.<\/p>\n
The new center was discovered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI \/ MEK) after the release of the U.S. National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) report last December.<\/p>\n
The NCRI’s recent revelations show that the Iranian regime is undoubtedly after the nuclear bomb, and none of the three essential parts to make nuclear bomb have been halted, but instead, are rapidly moving ahead.<\/p>\n
