Alejo Vidal Quadras, the Spanish Vice-President of the European Parliament said “I believe that there is a consensus on the threat posed by the Iranian regime", advocating “a regime change carried out by the Iranian people and their resistance.”<\/p>\n
“Contrary to the past, France adopted a policy of firmness with respect to the mullahs' regime” in Iran, highlighted Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran speaking at the conference, the report added.<\/p>\n
“This firmness can be serious only by recognizing the Resistance of the Iranian people ", she said.<\/p>\n
The conference was organized by the French Committee for a Democratic Iran (FCDI) and the Friends of a Free Iran.<\/p>\n
