They have appealed to the regime&#039;s officials to look into their working state.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the foremen in the factory have responded to the workers&#039; strike by closing down toilets and resorted to other immoral pressures in a bid to force the workers to end their strike.<\/p>\n<p>Workers in Haft-Tapeh Sugar Cane Factory, Shazand Sugar Factory, Kermanshah Petrochemical industry, Kaveh Fireproof Safe factory, Taleqani wood factory in Ahmad-Abad, Bardsir sugar factory in Kerman, and dozens of other factories and workshops have been on strike over the past month demanding their overdue salaries. <\/p>\n<p>The Iranian Resistance calls on labor organizations and unions and the International Labor Organization (ILO) in particular to condemn the anti-labor policies of the clerical regime and suppression of the workers in Iran. <\/p>\n<p>Secretariat of the National Council of Resistance of Iran<br \/>June 3, 2008<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Workers in dozens of other factories and workshops walked out over the past monthNCRI &ndash; More than 3,000 workers at Qarchak Brick Factory in Varamin, central Iran, have been on strike for the past 26 days.
