I caution that any effort to support the maintaining of the PMOI [the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK)] on the EU terrorist list amounts to a despicable scandal for French policy and is contrary to France's international obligations in the fight against terrorism and fundamentalism, particularly since in two days France will assume the rotating presidency of the European Union.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
