In such displacements there have also been political prisoners sent from one prison to the other facilitating their executions. <\/p>\n<p>In one case, on January 29, the mullahs&#039; odious regime with the intention of putting more pressure on political prisoners transferred a number of them to maximum security prisons holding common criminals.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-four political prisoners from various penitentiaries throughout the country such as Naqadeh and Orumieh in the northwest and Chalous in the north have been transferred to notorious Gohardasht (Rajahi-Shahr) prison. Gohardasht is a maximum security prison 40 km west of the capital Tehran.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>On January 29, twenty-eight prisoners were also relocated from Gohardasht to Evin prison.
