Bahram served 19 years of prison term before his hanging on Sunday, the state-run daily Etemaad reported on August 25. <\/p>\n<p>The hanging brings to ten the number of executions last week by the mullahs&#039; regime in Iran. Six prisoners were hanged in the northeastern city of Birjand, two hanged in Karaj, 40 kilometers west of Tehran and one in the northeastern city of Bojnourd. <\/p>\n<p>On July 25, in a single day, 29 prisoners were executed by the Iranian regime. The act provoked much international condemnations. However, the ruling clerics paid no heed and in the following days executed ten other. <\/p>\n<p>Whipping, cutting off limbs and parading prisoners in public with blindfolds are often practiced in Iran as measures to terrorize the public and suppress popular upheavals.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCRI &ndash; A prisoner named Bahram was hanged in the northern city of Tabriz.
