It expresses \u201cdeep concern over serious human rights violations\u201d in Iran, such as &#8220;torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment such as flogging and amputations\u201d \u2026 \u201ccontinuing large numbers of executions including public executions and execution of minors\u201d \u2026 \u201cthe existence of prisoners awaiting to be stoned to death\u201d \u2026 \u201carrests of and violent crackdowns on women\u201d \u2026 \u201cmaking threats to terrorize women working for human rights and continuation of discrimination against women and girls in law and practice\u201d \u2026 \u201cincreasing discrimination and other human rights violations against religious, ethnic, linguistic or other minorities\u201d \u2026 \u201congoing and serious restrictions of freedom of opinion and expression, peaceful assembly and association, and the increasing harassment, intimidation and persecution of political opponents and human rights defenders from all sectors of society.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCRI &ndash; A prisoner was hanged by the mullahs&rsquo; judiciary in the northern city of Noshahr, reported the semi-official news agency Fars on Thursday.
