The Iranian regime&rsquo;s suppressive forces surrounded the area where people had gathered, while other parts of the cemetery were cordoned in order to prevent others from joining the crowd. <\/p>\n<p>In Haft-e Tir (Rezaiha) Square, one of the main gathering spots in Tehran, the suppressive forces searched people and confiscated mobile phones. A number of people were wounded or arrested during clashes with the clerical regime&rsquo;s forces. A woman was badly beaten by agents and taken away in a car to an unknown location while she was still bleeding. Another brave woman was detained by 15 agents after she slapped one of the regime&rsquo;s agents in the face. <\/p>\n<p>Members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stationed around Al-Javad Mosque, near Rezaiha Square, arrested whoever they deemed to be suspicious. At least 10 people were reportedly arrested. The detainees were first taken inside the mosque and then transferred to other detention centers or prisons. The number of suppressive forces confronting today&rsquo;s demonstration was far greater than previous instances.
