They tried to prevent any form of protest by resorting to the most brutal forms of violence against women and youths. A large number of demonstrators were arrested and a number of others were wounded. <\/p>\n<p>The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance called on people across the world to help the wounded and families of the detainees and to help alleviate the sufferings and pains resulting from the forced separation of loved ones.
