Nationwide uprising – Statement 150<\/p>\n

NCRI – According to the social headquarters of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) inside the country, at 22:00 last night, August 17, a group of families of detainees of recent uprisings gathered outside Evin prison broke the silence in this area by chanting "Allahu Akbar." <\/p>\n

It has been for over two months that families of the detainees have been gathering everyday before Evin prison and the mullahs’ court demanding a settlement of their relatives’ situation. But the authorities refrain from giving any answer to their requests. <\/p>\n

Last night too, as for other nights, people chanted "Allahu Akbar" in other parts of Tehran, including Darakeh Saadat Abad, Shahrak-e-Gharb, Shahrak-e-Apadana, Vanak Square, Ghaem Magham street and Tehran-Pars. <\/p>\n
