{"id":7489,"date":"2009-12-08T14:20:31","date_gmt":"2009-12-08T14:20:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/issues\/human-rights\/7489-iran-mullahs-prosecutor-general-threatens-students-with-harsh-measures"},"modified":"2023-01-13T12:17:05","modified_gmt":"2023-01-13T11:17:05","slug":"iran-mullahs-prosecutor-general-threatens-students-with-harsh-measures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/statement-human-rights\/iran-mullahs-prosecutor-general-threatens-students-with-harsh-measures\/","title":{"rendered":"Iran: Mullahs Prosecutor General threatens students with harsh measures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"gholam-hossein-mohseni-ejei\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-34576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2009\/12\/gholam-hossein-mohseni-ejei.jpg\" alt=\"Mohseni-Ejei\"   width=\"200\" height=\"135\" align=\"right\" \/>NCRI &#8211; Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, Iranian regime&rsquo;s prosecutor general, threatened people for their nationwide uprising today and said, &ldquo;From today on, we will not give a chance to those who disrupt order and security in the society,&rdquo; quoted state-run news agency, IRNA, December 8.<\/p>\n<p>Ejei described the courageous uprising of the Iranian people and students yesterday marking the Students Day as &ldquo;breaking law in streets&rdquo; and emphasized that he had advised his collaborators not to allow those who &ldquo;disturb the security and peace of the people and set fire to cars and motorcycles to provide the best pretext to enemies to strike a blow to the regime in addition to disrupting order for the people.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>To set the stage for further crackdown on youths and students, he continued to intimidate their families and said, &ldquo;I say to the families [of protesting students] to watch over their children so that they would not be deceived by foreign powers and their double sided slogans.
