The aim was to exert greater pressure on Iran,&quot; the German Foreign Ministry website reported.<\/p>\n<p>  On the growing deterioration of human rights situation in Iran Werner Hoyer said that the EU condemned the recent executions, arrests and the continued restrictions placed on foreign media.
