The daily also cited protests by a large number of European Parliament members who denounced the meeting, saying that the regime seeks to use it to score propaganda points.<\/p>\n<p>il Giornale added that the clerical regime&rsquo;s ambassador in Brussels demanded Mottaki&rsquo;s speech to be aired live on state-run Iranian TV, as well as a press conference and other formal and official ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p>According to il Giornale, after exposing these demands, Albertini rejected a formal reception and said, &ldquo;There will be no concessions and no appeasement.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>il Giornale wrote that Mottaki is known to be fond of speaking for long periods of time, but if his speech exceeds the designated time slot on Tuesday, there is a possibility that it would get cut off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EP Foreign Affairs Chair: Human rights abuses and executions of opposition members in Iran are still unresolved issues NCRI &ndash;
