He was last known to be traveling from Cologne to Paris. The Cologne Police has announced that a search is now underway.<\/p>\n<p>While expressing concern about the disappearance of the dissident Iranian artist, the National Council of Resistance of Iran calls on German authorities to launch urgent investigations.<\/p>\n<p>Dariush Shokouf was known for his open views in opposing the fundamentalist regime ruling Iran. In 2009 and 2010, he made two documentaries called &ldquo;The Prison of Iran&rdquo; and &ldquo;Hitler&rsquo;s Grave,&rdquo; exposing torture in the mullahs&rsquo; medieval prisons.
