NCRI – The Iranian regime’s General Prosecutor has joined a host of other officials voicing worry about widespread defections gripping the clerical establishment. In comments posted on the Judiciary’s official website in Khouzestan, Hossein Ejei said, “Over the past year, some of those who we thought formed the powerful branches of the tree of the revolution have broken off and fallen to the ground.”<\/p>\n
Speaking in the province of Khouzestan among judiciary officials, he added, “With the enemy’s propaganda and deceptions, coupled with incentives and intimidations as well as the promotion of ambiguities and questions, a large branch of this tree fell off.”<\/p>\n
The theocracy’s General Prosecutor pointed to the incurable fissures among the regime’s factions, saying, “Today, what the enemy can exploit the most are the internal conflicts and harming the system from within. There are some who are old and experienced, and who had certain roles and responsibilities, but are aligned with the enemy not necessarily by choice but in practice. The enemy’s words came out of the mouths of those you would never had thought would say such things.
