On Tuesday, state-run news agencies quoted Masoud Adrisi, the former mullahs\u2019 ambassador to \u200eLebanon, as saying, \u201cA decision to cancel the visit depends on the situation in Lebanon over the next \u200efew days. The situation changes in Lebanon by the hour; Unexpected things could happen by \u200etomorrow which may lead to the cancellation of the trip.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n
Reacting to the widespread hatred and animosity of the Lebanese people towards the clerical regime \u200ein Iran, Adrisi added, \u201cAt any rate, there is a probability that the trip may be cancelled because the \u200eevents in Lebanon over the past few days have raised the probability for the occurrence of \u200eunexpected developments. If that happens, then the trip would naturally be cancelled.\u201d\u200e<\/p>\n
