European companies are banned from selling technology to the Iranian regime \u200efor use in its energy industry.\u200e<\/p>\n<p>The regulations also ban the operation of the clerical regime\u2019s banks in the 27 member \u200estates of the EU, prohibiting transfer of funds over 40,000 euros unless there is special \u200eauthorization.\u200e<\/p>\n<p>The sanctions also prohibit the Iranian regime\u2019s cargo flights from entering EU air space.\u200e<\/p>\n<p>Shipments received from the Iranian regime will undergo stricter controls and inspections \u200eat the EU\u2019s ports and the regime\u2019s shipping line will be prevented from entering EU \u200ewaters.\u200e<\/p>\n<p>Assets belonging to the regime\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) will be \u200efrozen in the EU and there will be tighter restrictions for the entry of 40 of the regime\u2019s \u200esenior officials into EU territory.\u200e<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NCRI &ndash; The European Union on Monday finalized the approval of sanctions against the &lrm;Iranian regime that go beyond those passed by the United Nations Security Council in &lrm;June.&lrm; The [&#8230;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":36068,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[18],"tags":[175],"class_list":{"0":"post-9168","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-iran-a-world","8":"tag-updated"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
