Without a doubt, last year\u2019s sedition represented a movement that aimed for overthrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Khatami implicitly referred to the slogans of \u201cdeath to Khamenei [the regime\u2019s Supreme Leader]\u201d and \u201cdeath to dictator\u201d as well as the tearing of Khamenei and Khomeini\u2019s portraits by the protestors and said, \u201cThose who participated in the sedition insulted the most sacred of sanctities.
