They were esteemed martyrs, who were symbols of perseverance and selflessness and did not succumb to the regime\u2019s pressures and tortures and were executed like Ali Saremi was last December.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement added, \u201cThese criminal executions were carried out following a conference attended by senior American security officials on January 20 calling for the removal of the PMOI from the US terrorist list and after the collapse of talks in Istanbul.
