For instance, in a press conference in Paris on November 15, 2004, in which the NCRI revealed the Lavizan Shian2 site, Abbasi was revealed as one of the top four nuclear scientists in the Iranian Defense Ministry.\u00a0 He was in charge of the scheme to deceive the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) during their visits to Iran.
