Obstacles put to the emptying of septic tanks and garbage dump, causing health danger

Camp Ashraf military Occupation – N ° 49

NCRI – After the murderous assault on  April  8 and the killing of Ashraf residents, Iraqi forces started the inhumane measure of surrounding with a mound of earth and barbed wire to isolate the septic tank and garbage dump in the north-east of Ashraf, to prevent them being emptied. This place and these facilities were built by Ashraf residents in 1993 at their own expense.

The system of sewage in the camp works with the emptying of septic dugs for that purpose and given the nature of the soil in the area, they must be emptied as soon as possible.

Preventing their emptying poses serious sanitary risks and if it continues, it will seriously endanger the residents’ health.
