Privacy Policy

The National Council of Resistance of Iran – Foreign Affairs Committee (NCRI-FAC) considers your privacy paramount and we are dedicated to protecting your privacy on the Internet. NCRI-FAC does not require any personal information to be divulged in order to use its web site, NCR-Iran.Org. As the user, you can choose to share as little or as much information as you choose. NCRI-FAC’s privacy policy is a statement of the value we place on protecting any information you choose to provide.

Collection and Use of Your Personal Information

When signing up to our web site, NCR-Iran.Org may ask for your name, address, telephone number, and email address, as well as information about who may have referred you to the site. By providing such contact information to us, you agree and consent that we may use the information to send you (by email, mail, telephone or otherwise) updates and the latest news from NCR-Iran.Org, as well as provide your name and contact information to third-party not-for-profit organizations whose mission is to educate and inform about the dangers of the Iranian regime, so that they may send you (by email, mail, telephone or otherwise) updates and the latest news from their organizations. To this end, you agree and consent to the receipt (by email, mail, telephone or otherwise) of such updates and the latest news from these third-party not-for-profit organizations.  Under no circumstances will NCRI-FAC sell your information to third parties or any commercial entities. Individuals can unsubscribe from our e-mail list at any time. 

Online Contributions

When you make a contribution to NCRI-FAC, we collect your name, mailing address, e-mail, and phone number. Any credit card information provided is only used to immediately process your donation. NCRI-FAC does not retain your credit card information once the donation is processed online.

Website Analytics

We use log files to assess the aggregate level of traffic to NCR-Iran.Org including what pages people are visiting, and to diagnose any potential problems with the Web site. This log file does contain an “Internet Protocol” or IP address that gives us insight on the general geographic area that visitors are coming from but not information on a specific individual. We do not use log files to track a particular individual’s use of NCR-Iran.Org. All users remain anonymous unless they choose to give us personally identifiable information.

Use of Cookies

We may use cookies to tailor your experience on NCR-Iran.Org according to the preferences you have specified. When you visit the Web site, your browser may save a tiny piece of information on your computer. This information personalizes and improves your experience online. NCR-Iran.Org only accesses information sent by the NCR-Iran.Org. It is not possible and we do not attempt to access information from other Web sites. Our cookies do not contain any personal identifiable information.

Our website uses Google Analytics and its display advertising features, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage. If you would like to opt-out of Google Analytics for display advertising you may do so by using the Ads Preferences Manager.

Petitions and Surveys

For petitions and surveys you’ve signed or completed, we treat your name, city, state, and comments as public information – for example, we may provide compilations of petitions, with your comments, to the President and legislators, other targets, or to the press. We will not make your street address publicly available, but we may transmit it to members of Congress and to the Presidents as part of a petition. This is standard industry practice in such situations. In no such case will we disclose your email address or phone number, without your permission. We may also make your comments, along with your first name, city and state available to the press and public online.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to revise or update this privacy policy at any time. While we do not intend to make any changes to this policy we do reserve the right to do so. If any changes to this privacy policy are made the date that the revised or updated policy is posted to NCR-Iran.Org will appear at the bottom of the page.
