NCRI – Mullah Sadiqi, the temporary leader of Tehran’s Friday prayer show said: Khamenei’s intervention for reinstating the Minister of Intelligence was to prevent the backbone of regime from falling to pieces, According to the state-run Fars news agency.
Fars news agency which is the mouthpiece of the Revolutionary Guards quoted Sadiqi as saying: “In recent events involving the Minister of Intelligence and his unexcused firing [by Ahmadinejad] which was against the interests of the state, the Supreme Leader entered the scene and did not allow the backbone of regime to fall to pieces.”
