Iraqiya Coalition leader Ayad Allawi condemned the raid conducted by Nouri Maliki’s forces against Finance Minister Rafe al-Issawi, warning Maliki to refrain from repressive measures and targeting nationalist figures, especially Iraqiya leaders and supporters.
Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Saleh Mutlak also criticized the attack against the finance minister by Maliki’s forces, threatening to withdraw from the political process altogether and resigning from his post.
