NCRI – The Iranian regime’s State Security Forces have raided people’s homes in West Azerbaijan province in early morning during the weekend confiscating their satellite dishes.
The authorities of the clerical regime also have begun jamming satellite signals throughout Salmas County in the western province.
Also in last week of May the State Security Forces in had confiscated 2,846 satellite dishes in Zanjan province in few days in the regime’s ongoing crackdown on viewing satellite broadcasts.
The confiscations are part of an ongoing campaign of oppression by the ruling elite, who have also crippled the internet and mobile phone networks in many cities to prevent protesters organizing election demonstrations.
