NCRI – Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki has been branded ‘corrupt’ and a ‘liar’ by the president of his own country’s National Party.
In an interview with al-Baghdaiya TV, Methal al-Alousi also described al-Maliki as a puppet of Iran who has shed the blood of his own people.
He said: “Maliki is not Prime Minister. He is a big liar. Corruption is embedded among those who have power and money, and they are headed by so-called prime minister Nouri al-Maliki.
“They plan to divide and destroy Iraq and make it an instrument in the hands of its neighbors. The intelligence forces of the Iranian and Syrian regimes move freely in the green zone. Even when Maliki goes to the US, elements of Iranian and Syrian regimes accompany him. Maliki is like a corpse which carries and passes the virus of deviousness.
“Maliki is accused of being unhealthy for Iraq, and of corruption and shedding the blood of Iraqis.”
Al-Alousi told al-Maliki: “If you weren’t the prime minister, Iraqi blood would not have been shed. If you and your government and all partners in your government were not there, Iraq would not have been sucked into this situation. I ask the Iraqi parties to pull out of the government and ask the parliament to remove al-Maliki, even by force. Al-Maliki, you and your son are accused of corruption on a grand scale. Maliki, you are accused of committing great crimes. Maliki, you are the biggest tragedy for Iraq. I ask everybody to remove Maliki and refer him to the people’s courts to be tried.”
