
The protesters then marched towards the Revolutionary Court on Moalem Street and continued their protest there, after being denied their right to rally outside the prison compound.
Dozens of the women arrested during Monday’s demonstration have been transferred to Evin Prison. Their families expressed deep concern over the fate of their loved ones.
At least 400 people were arrested during the rally held in 7 Tir Square.

Evin Prison was built as a maximum security prison to house political prisoners, but it became the Iranian regime’s most dreaded gulag and the site of thousands of political executions.
