NCRI – The French human rights organization France Libertés on Monday condemned last week’s deadly rocket attack on members of the main Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) in Camp Liberty in Iraq.
A statement posted on the website of the France-based NGO said: “France Libertés has supported for over 20 years the People’s Mojahedin, in particular the call for humanitarian protection of Camp Ashraf and now Camp Liberty.”
“The foundation condemns this despicable attack and calls on the international community to protect the inhabitants of Camp Liberty,” it added.
On October 29, agents of the Iranian regime fired at least 80 rockets at Camp Liberty, killing 24 unarmed and defenseless residents and injuring dozens of others.
‘Fondation Danielle-Mitterrand – France Libertés’ was founded by the former First Lady of France in 1986.
