NCRI – Heavy floods in recent days across at least 20 of Iran’s provinces have left many people destitute or without homes.
At least five people are believed to have died or are missing as a result of the flash floods which have continued for at least three days.
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, sent a message of condolences to the families of the victims.
Mrs. Rajavi said: My condolences to the bereaved families who lost loved ones due to floods in the provinces of Iran, taking the lives of many people and inflicting heavy damages.
The mullahs’ regime is responsible for the damages inflicted that are due to destruction of the environment and lack of measures to counter natural disasters, Mrs. Rajavi added.
