Burning of Detestable Portraits of Khomeini and Khamenei in Tehran and People’s Enthusiastic Response

Defiant Youths Target 12 Regime Suppression Centers and Plundering Sites in Tehran and 10 Other Cities

On Sunday, June 11, defiant youths set fire to repugnant portraits of Khomeini and Khamenei on a pedestrian bridge along Saidi Highway in Tehran. Their fellow compatriots warmly welcomed this action with a chorus of honking cars. Moreover, they boldly targeted a regime-affiliated seminary in Karaj, an IRGC Basij base in Yazd, and the notorious looting committee known as “Imdad Khomeini” in Anzali, using Molotov cocktails. In addition, they set ablaze billboards and banners featuring Khomeini and Khamenei in Tehran, Isfahan, Eshtehard Karaj, Shiraz, Sari, Boukan, and Noorabad-e Lorestan.
