Iran: Six Prisoners Hanged in Kermanshah and Karaj, Executions During Pezeshkian’s Presidency Reaches 1,515
Mrs. Rajavi: Khamenei, surrounded by insoluble crises, is attempting to prevent the eruption of uprisings by erecting gallows, but he only purchases the intensified anger of the people and rebellious youth determined to overthrow the clerical regime.
On Sunday, August 3, six prisoners were sent to the gallows by the Iranian regime’s executioners: Saber Azizpour in Khorramabad; Rasoul Arabi in Arak; Moslem Jalali in Kermanshah; and Mohammad Garrousi, Reza Bakhtavar, and 28-year-old Fariborz Haghi at Karaj Central Prison. This brings the number of prisoners executed during the Pezeshkian term to 1,515.
On Saturday, August 2, Fouad Azar, 35, in Yasuj, and Sajad Zare, 35, in Gachsaran, were executed. On Thursday, July 31, a female prisoner named Nahid Jokar, Abolfazl Alaei, and two other individuals were hanged in Shiraz, while Asadollah Sagvandi was executed in Ahvaz. On Wednesday, July 30, nine prisoners were executed by the regime’s executioners, including a female prisoner named Mahtab Bayati and Ali Ashrafkhani in Mashhad; Reza Afraei Mardakheh in Rasht; and Jaber Salami in Qom. The names of the other five prisoners were provided in a previous statement. On Tuesday, July 29, six prisoners, including 36-year-old Arash Mohammadi in Qom and Mohammad Rikani in Ahvaz, were executed; the names of the other four were provided in a previous statement.
With the brutal mass executions on Sunday, August 3rd, the number of prisoners executed during Pezeshkian’s tenure has reached at least 1,515.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, said: Khamenei and the accursed regime of Velayat-e Faqih, surrounded by insurmountable domestic and international crises, are desperately attempting to prevent the explosion of popular anger and the ignition of uprisings by erecting gallows in various cities. However, they only purchase greater public rage and hatred, further strengthening the resolve of the rebellious youth to overthrow the clerical regime.
